I've done expeditions on Earth and Mars, but this was something else entirely. The metallic snow at higher elevations creates an almost otherworldly atmosphere. The extended tour gave us plenty of time to enjoy everything.
As a geologist, this was a dream come true. The rock formations are fascinating. Only giving 4 stars because one of our rest stations had equipment issues, causing a slight delay. The team handled it professionally though.
